Payments for the incinerator projects in our country continue as usual, despite open investigations.
Chair of the Socialist Movement for Integration (SMI), Monika Kryemadhi spoke on the issue earlier today saying that there are many reasons why the government doesn’t suspend payments.
Through a post on social media, Kryemadhi warned of ‘a certain something that is bound to happen soon, which will unearth the truth’.
“Dear journalists. Very soon, you will no longer have to struggle with questions and doubts, that always remain unanswered. There are many reasons why the Government doesn’t suspect payments towards incinerators. Next year, all cards will be laid out on the table and very soon the truth of the mega criminal government affair will come out and triumph over the contrived propaganda,” said Kryemadhi.
Yesterday, after a government meeting on the incinerators issue, the minister of infrastructure and energy, Belina Ballkuku declared that ministries are obligated to respect all prearranged contracts.
Balluku also underlined that the ministries can’t and shouldn’t judge given companies, while investigations are still underway.
