Former Socialist Party MP and also a lecturer herself, Mimoza Hafizi has joined today’s protest which took place at the University-Corpus in the second week of the boycott of the new academic year.
Hafizi, who is also a lecturer in the Department of Physics, was photographed next to her colleagues during today’s protest.
Lecturers held their second national protest, where, among other things, they are demanding a salary increase. Students have not yet joined the protest at least for now.
On the other hand, the head of the government, PM Edi Rama, in his meetings with citizens around the country, has emphasized that he does not support this protest.
Rama has also underlined that the university must be able to provide its own income since it is an autonomous body.
