DP chair, Lulzim Basha said during Thursday’s plenum that starting from tomorrow, the Democratic Party will be depositing a case file denouncing all that they consider to be the ‘Government’s abusive affairs in the energy sectors, more specifically through OSHEE and KESH’.
According to the DP leader, the plan presented by the prime minister that is meant to tackle the oncoming energy crisis only serves to plunge the country more into debt, namely another €200 million euros that will go to OSHEE.
In addition, Basha called out OSHEE for having dug up a hole of corruption within the energy sector, through luxurious tenders, clientelism and political hiring.
“A public debt, gone completely out of control that renders the government incapable of acting and helping out citizens and enterprises, because their main priority is the oligarchs, with whom they divide their power and the State Budget.
This is why, after all the corruptive affairs and solutions they’ve made through the years, they find themselves today, completely incapable of protecting Albanian families and their own economy that is unfortunately only getting worse by the day,” – argued Basha.
