Kosovo’s PM, Albin Kurti has come out with a reaction following today’s incident in the country’s northern region of Mitrovica, saying that the same operation that sparked all this adversary, is being carried out all across the rest of the country.
Kurti also noted that crime and criminal groups won’t be tolerated and that they will be fought, as will those that try to bring illegal contraband into the country.
In addition, Kurti confirmed that today’s police operation has finished and he called on residents of northern Mitrovica, to not allow themselves to be used by different Serbian media agencies that side with crime, corruption, and contraband while doing everything in their power to make every possible issue ethnic and political.
“Crime and criminal groups won’t be tolerated and they will be fought. We’ll fight contraband and prevent it.
Today’s police operation has wrapped up. I call on the citizens living in the commune of northern Mitrovica, don’t fall prey to certain Serbian media that protect crime, corruption, and contraband, while trying to turn them into political and ethnic issues,” – wrote Kurti.
