The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, disclosed the details of the meeting with the new head of diplomacy of the European Union, Kaja Kallas.
Kurti said that the meeting discussed issues of Kosovo’s progress in terms of European integration, but also relations with the northern neighbor.
Also, Kurti informs that he asked Kallas that Serbia hand over the terrorist Milan Radoičić to the Kosovo authorities, as the organizer of the attack in Banjska on September 24 of last year.
For the first time in her capacity as the head of the foreign policy of the European Union, Kaja Kallas welcomed the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, and the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vućić, in Brussels today.
“At the meeting, we discussed issues of Kosovo’s progress in terms of European integration, but also relations with our northern neighbor. I emphasized that we have had unprecedented economic growth and democratic progress in independent Kosovo and at the same time we have managed the most serious security challenges, the most serious threats which resulted in the killing of Sergeant Afrim Bunjaku.
The main criminal of the gang that carried out the attack in Banjska is kept free and supported by Serbia. We requested, as in every other meeting, the handing over of Radoičić to the Kosovo authorities, since the Prosecutor’s Office now has a 160-page indictment and his group of over 40 people,” said Kurti.
