Prime Minister Edi Rama called the January 8 protest that took place at the headquarters of the Democratic Party a “reality show with real politicians”.
On the 30-year anniversary of the foundation of FRESSH, the youth forum of the Socialist Party, Rama declared that the site of the Democratic Party turned into a “castle” where some “sought to protect it” and others “to take it over”.
He also added that the entire ordeal resembled events that only happened in the Middle Ages.
“The front yard of a political party turned into the filming location of a reality show by real politicians but the setting was somewhere in the Middle Ages”, said the head of the executive.
Rama stressed that politics remains inalienable for the coexistence of people, for the economic and social progress of a country.
