Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama was today in Berat where he held a meeting with local farmers. The head of the government said that Albania has enough resources to develop the tourism sector, thus, according to him, the country should be focused in encouraging foreign investments.
“We will make Albania a champion of tourism. What does Montenegro have more than us, and yet, look at where it stands. We have the sea, we have the mountain by the sea, we have the land, the sun. We are the second richest country in terms of water in the continent and now we are determined to bring in major investors,” he said.
PM Rama also added that it is very important to promote agritourism and bring back the immigrants in the country.
