PM Edi Rama arrived in Kosovo early this morning, where he was received by his homolog, Albin Kurti.
The state ceremony took place at the ‘Skanderbeg’ square in central Prishtina, after which both prime ministers headed to the Prime Minister’s Office in order to officially start their scheduled meeting.
Immediately after, a press conference has been announced, where journalists and the press will be able to conduct a Q&A.
Earlier this month, PM Kurti sent a letter to PM Rama, congratulating him for winning the elections and consequently his third term in power. In the letter, he also expressed his utmost willingness and that of his government, to advance the countries’ bilateral economic cooperation, their trading exchanges, and the integration of both markets, by bringing down all barriers between ethnic Albanians.
