From the Rinas Airport, PM Edi Rama declared that after this last deal, Albania is now ready to vaccinate all healthcare professionals in Kosovo.
He emphasized that in Kosovo there is a total of 11 thousand healthcare employees and our country is ready to help them.
“We now have the ability to give Kosovo a straight-forward message. Starting from tomorrow, we are ready to undertake the vaccination process of all healthcare providers in Kosovo, all 11 thousand of them and within a maximum of 20 days, keeping in mind the rhythm of their arrival in Kukes when we were able to administer 500 vaccines in 2 days. We are now ready to vaccinate everyone,” said PM Rama.
Kosovo is the only country in Europe that still hasn’t secured a single dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. Last week, in the city of Kukes the vaccination of 500 health-care professionals from Kosovo was made possible from the Albanian government.
