Kosovo Police and Customs forces carried out another operation earlier today at the commune of Zvecan in the country’s north.

The operation aimed at continuing the fight against contraband and fiscal evasion.

“Kosovo’s customs and police have intervened today at a building in the village Rajtice in the commune of Zvecan, after suspicions of contraband goods coming in from Serbia,” – reported Kosova Press.

According to these sources, the owner of the building was Sinisha Nedelkovic, who is also owner of the ‘Metal’ warehouse in Zvecan, which is mainly focused on construction materials.

Sources have also added that during this operation, gunshots were heard but police have yet to confirm if any arrests were made.
