The State Police seized on Wednesday €87,950 in cash, amid doubts that the money was earned through illegal activities.

The person caught carrying the cash is currently under investigation.

Fier Police found the stash in the vehicle of the 30-year-old man, but no documentation proving how it was acquired.

“The cash amount found in the vehicle of the suspect has been seized and will be used as evidence”, a police statement released to the media read.
