DP leader, Lulzim Basha is continuing his efforts to make the politician vetting initiative that is now submitted to Parliament, a reality, because according to him, this is the only thing that would rescue Albania from the grips of corruption, by prosecuting corrupt politicians and returning power back to citizens.

Through a post on his personal Twitter account, the DP chair said that the vetting process is a necessity, in order to put an end to the impunity of politicians.

A few days ago, after his meeting with several American Congressmen, the DP leader said that he had received a guarantee from the US, regarding politician vetting.
