Representative from the Intercity Transport Association, Shpetim Vrioni stated that the price for bus tickets will remain the same but there have been a few cases where the price has changed.

In addition, Vrioni explained that the firm that might have changed ticket prices in the past have brought them back down and this won’t be allowed to take place again because it was considered abusive.

Meanwhile, a co-director of the firm Kujtim Mema didn’t consider the rise of ticket prices as abusive but rather, he said it was necessary and a consequence of the rise in the price of oil in the global market.

One of the bus routes that brought up ticket prices in recent months was Tirana-Durres.
