The new mayor of Pristina, Perparim Rama, said on Facebook that he has just been informed to have tested positive for COVID-19.

Rama added that he feels well and so far, and did not display any symptoms.

The new mayor went into isolation while awaiting test results.

He had also canceled all planned meetings, but will still perform his duties from home.
