The Special Prosecutor’s Office has closed the investigations for Sali Berisha and his son-in-law Jamarbër Malltezi, the businessmen Fatmir Bektashi and Xhimi Begeja and the citizen Andia Pustina, referring to the Special Appeal Court for Corruption and Organized Crime the request to start the trial related to the “Partizani” file.

The prosecution representatives Arben Kraja and Enkeleda Millonai submitted the material to the court on Tuesday, October 15, as the latter is expected to draw lots tomorrow at 9 a.m. to appoint the jury, where the name of Irena Gjoka is not included in the list of 10 judges.

Gjoka has been a judicial body since October of last year where it also approved security measures, while the law stipulates that it should no longer be part of the process.
