The electoral survey conducted by Euronews Albania during tonight’s Political Barometer discovered that the difference between the two main political leaders in Albania, Edi Rama (51.2%) and Lulzim Basha (51 %) has narrowed down considerably in the district county of Durres, making April 25th the day of a tough face-off amongst the two.

The host of ‘In a few words’ at Euronews Albania, Neritan Sejamini stated that after the results of this last survey, we can say that today we have an equal race between Rama and Basha.

According to him, if until yesterday Rama had a clear advantage, today the public considers them both equal rivals for the post of PM.

Sejamini ranked the reasons, which according to him have contributed to this increase in the support and preference for the leader of the opposition, one of which he said is the choice to conduct a positive electoral campaign.

“Rama’s very frequent public appearances and his campaign against his rivals, has given negative results, whereas the focus of the opposition on speaking about its program and its public appearances have returned positivity,” said journalist Sejamini.
