PM Rama and his political opponent and DP chair, Lulzim Basha, went head-to-head during today’s plenary session, prompting analyst Andi Bushati to give his opinionated take during tonight’s ‘Shock’ on Euronews Albania.
“Based on the facts presented by both sides in today’s Rama-Basha debate in Parliament, I have to say that the winner was Lulzim Basha,” – argued Andi Bushati.
Bushati argued that Lulzim Basha has won the “debate on decriminalization, the debate on Rama’s interior ministers being involved in drug trafficking and the fact that Rama is stealing through concessions”.
However, according to the political analyst, despite being able to point out the flaws of Edi Rama’s governance, Basha doesn’t have the necessary tools “to fight his regime”.
According to Bushati, Basha’s main disadvantage is the fact that DP’s leaders, “isn’t very good at confrontation”.
