This morning PM Edi Rama has called a meeting of mayors at the Palace of Congress, where they will speak on the financial performance of the local government so far.
Meanwhile, the prime minister has also announced that the summer season will also be a focus of discussions, along with the upcoming local elections.
Alongside the prime minister and mayors, the following officials will also be present in the meeting: minister of internal affairs Bledar Cuci, minister of finance and economy Delina Ibrahimaj, head of local finances Fran Brahimi, and representatives from the Swiss Embassy.
