PM Edi Rama arrived tonight in Belgrade at 18:00, along with the delegation that has been accompanying him during all previous ‘Open Balkan’ meetings.
During this Wednesday’s meeting, Rama and Vucic will have dinner, which will also be joined by former Macedonian PM, Nikola Dimitrov.
Euronews Albania reporter, Eksiola Shehu reported from Belgrade, announcing that Montenegro’s prime minister, Zdravko Krivokapic, will also be joining the high executives even though his country isn’t officially part of the ‘Open Balkan’ initiative.
This new development paves the way for the possibility of Montenegro to join this regional cooperation initiative, but we will need to wait for an official standing from the neighboring country’s government that will either confirm or deny these speculations.
On Thursday, the agenda of their meetings will begin at 10:30 a.m., with a head-to-head meeting of representatives from Serbia, Albania and North Macedonia.
