Prime Minister Edi Rama has reacted again regarding the accusations about his trips abroad, which according to the chief democrat, Sali Berisha, amount to 22 million euros.
Through a post on social media, Rama says this is defamation of the opposition.
Rama said the average annual expenditure in 2010, when Sali Berisha was prime minister, was 251,365 LEK.
For 2021, it was 64,972 LEK.
“The monumental defamation of millions of euros shows not only the degeneration of the opposition’s [Russian allies] who are the same ones who fine TV stations, but also their contempt for Albanians. The average annual expenditure of the Prime Minister for trips abroad: 2010 – 251,365 LEK, 2021 – 64,972 LEK,” wrote Rama on Twitter.
