PM Edi Rama declared that Albania remains the only country in Europe that hasn’t changed electricity prices for regular households and small businesses and that it will continue to do.

During his remarks on the first day of construction work at the Photovoltaic Park in Karavasta, Rama also added that we also have the lowest inflation rate in the region.

“This has led to the inflation rate which is currently the main issue for all governments, to be significantly lower in Albania compared to others in the region. Everything else is unavoidable and in order for us to make things easier for whoever needs our support the most, I need them to keep these two very important factors in mind because they are crucial to understanding the current situation,” said Rama.
