Edi Rama will definitely go, that’s a fact, he knows it better than anyone else.
This is what the chairman of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, said during his interview on Euronews Albania’s “Now”.
According to him, the high turnout in the November 12 protest showed the great support that the opposition has.
“Edi Rama will go, this is over, he knows it better than anyone else. He bought two mandates with Lulzim Basha, in 2017 and 2021. He bought them with Lulzim Basha, he didn’t buy anything with me. This is a demonstration of the great support that the opposition has, the vision that the opposition has. An opposition that recognizes the problems of the citizens, that shows how to find an alternative to solve the economic-social problems. The strength will be shown in the elections”, he emphasized.
On November 12, for about 3 hours, the Democratic Party and the Freedom Party held a protest in front of the Prime Minister’s Office.
There were 20 speakers at the protest, among them the chief democrat, Sali Berisha, and the head of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta. Both leaders accused Prime Minister Edi Rama of depopulating the country, the dire economic situation, and corruption.
