The rapporteur for Kosovo in the European Parliament, Riho Terras, condemned the terrorist attack in the Ibër-Lepenci in the north, while emphasizing that all criminals must be brought to justice.
The member of the European Parliament, at the press conference on Monday in Pristina, said that Kosovo has made progress in some of the reforms initiated.
He warned that during his stay in Kosovo he will also visit the north of the country.
On the evening of November 29, an explosion occurred in the village of Varagë in the municipality of Zubin Potok, in the northern part of Kosovo.
The explosion damaged the water channel of Ibër-Lepenci.
The Kosovo authorities have stated that the attack is criminal and terrorist and comes from gangs orchestrated from Belgrade.
Prime Minister Albin Kurti said that the attack was intended to damage the infrastructure “perhaps the most important one we have”.
From Ibër-Lepenc, several cities in Kosovo are supplied with water from Lake Ujman, as well as the Energy Corporation of Kosovo.
