In Kosovo, COVID-19 has claimed the lives of 6 citizens in the last 24 hours. As reported by the National Institute of Public Health, 4.318 tests have been conducted, out of which 860 came out positive.

During one year of the pandemic in Kosovo, a total of 1.819 citizens have lost their lives, most of whom with underlying health conditions.

The most affected counties are Prishtina (287 cases), Gjilan (69), Gjakova (63), Mitrovica (57) and Peja (52).

Kosovo remains the only country in Europe that still hasn’t received a dose of the coronavirus vaccine.

Albania’s PM, Edi Rama gave a statement yesterday, saying that he is now ready to donate a number of vaccines to all healthcare professionals in Kosovo, which according to him are 11 thousand in total.
