Valbon Krasniqi, head of the infectious disease clinic at the University Clinical Center of Kosovo said for Good Morning on Euronews Albania that the situation at the moment is stable, but authorities expect a new wave to hit the country.
“We had a period of calm that lasted for about 3 months, but in the last 3 days we’ve seen single-day cases rise to more than 100”, said Krasniqi.
According to him, the situation in hospitals remains well, but it might deteriorate with new cases soar.
Due to the favorable situation in the past 3 months, Krasniqi claimed that anti-COVID measures have been more lenient.
