Former Minister of Justice, Ylli Manjani, said he has a firm stance that in case a political rotation comes after the elections, that should be driven by the main opposition force, the Democratic Party, meanwhile he referred to the Socialist Movement for Integration as a “complementary force”, whose contribution is “necessary, but not crucial”.

According to Manjani, the Democratic Party has three important missions ahead and address them in Durres, as a potential county.

“If there will be rotation, the bases of this political rotation should be driven by the DP, which has 3 missions; firstly, recover from 2017 elections”.

“Secondly, it needs to compensate for the gaps that might be caused by the SMI”, said the former minister, adding that the latter needs to compensate for the tricks that have been made with coalition formulas in a “unilateral way by the Socialists”.

Manjani also said that there is a lack of uncertainty on SMI, after the withdraw of Lefter Koka, which has severely impacted the party’s position in the county and leaving a gap behind for this political subject.
