This October, the government decided to increase the salaries for police officers, guards, guards, firefighters, and the public administration in theaters and cultural institutions.

Also, according to the decision, the employees of municipalities and some ministers in the country will also be beneficiaries.

The increase is specified between 7 and 15 % according to the principle, the one who is paid more gets the lower supplement and those with low salaries get the higher supplement.

The next decision follows last month’s, on the review of the minimum salary and that of doctors and teachers.

In the latest INSTAT report, the average salary in the state is 68,000 ALL and combined with private salaries, the average salary in Albania reaches 60,000 ALL.

Compared to the region, Albania ranks together with Kosovo at the bottom of the list, which is headed by Serbia with an average salary of 1180 euros.
