The chairman of Nisma Thurje, Endri Shabani, declared that 50% of Albanians can overthrow the current political class, if they go to the polls.

In an interview for Euronews Albania, Shabani said that Albanians are not inspired, as they have seen the same political actors for 32 years.

“No man does anything alone. This 50% of Albanians, who are at least 800,000, let’s say 300,000, who are at home and do not go to vote on voting day, can overturn the political system. That’s the reality.

But they don’t realize it, because they have been seeing the same people for 32 years. If these same non-voters, take a moment to think about it, they will believe that they can overturn reality, they will come out and go to the polls. By going to the polls, they have the power to change reality’, he argued.
