Former high-ranking police official Shemsi Premci said that the protest at the headquarters of the Democratic Party (DP) resembled more to a “bourgeois revolution” than a democratic one.
Premci sat down with the host of Now with Erla Mehilli to discuss his stance on the unrest that ensued following the protest organized by former DP leader Sali Berisha.

According to him, some of those seen at the protest are former ministers from Berisha’s cabinet while today are shareholders in the companies of the oligarchs.
Uprisings cannot be done by the wealthy, Premci says, adding that Berisha’s former ministers are shareholders in some of the companies of the oligarchs.
“Revolutions are not made by the bourgeoisie. DP’s former ministers are shareholders of oligarchic companies, so they can not come to make a revolution”, said Premci.
He also added that the Democratic Party has never governed with the people that helped them come to power.
