For Euronews Albania correspondent Teodor Gjerga reported from Shengjin where Ardjan Nikulaj was killed on Wednesday afternoon.

“Nikulaj was shot by unidentified persons in his direction, while he was inside his business on the pedestrian promenade in Shengjin”, said Gjerga.

Nikulaj was a former Social-Democratic Party candidate for deputy in the 2021 parliamentary elections.

This year, Nikulaj supported the socialist candidate in the local elections.

The police have set up control groups in the entire area to catch the perpetrators of the incident.

The businessman was executed by two people who were driving a motor, in the interiors of the bar “Coral”, which he owns.

One of the perpetrators with a spacesuit on his head entered the premises of the bar and shot twice at the businessman, leaving him dead.
