Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani said on Friday that visa liberalization for Kosovo is an easy decision for the European Union.

According to the President, there are no hurdles ahead and the decision should no longer be stalled.

“The liberalization of visas for Kosov should have been a very simple decision for the EU, there are no obstacles. Kosovo does not have illegal migration, does not produce crime, and the battle against corruption is acknowledged on international reports”, Osmani said.

“Given that, since these countries, on a bilateral perspective, are encouraging Kosovo to continue with the reforms, there should be no more delays”, emphasized the President.

A few days ago, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz visited Prishtina and said that the European Union must liberalize visas with Kosovo.

He added that Germany will do everything possible for the integration of the Western Balkan region into the bloc.
