Socialist Party MP Klotilda Bushka said that the gender of the next president doesn’t matter, but what does, is that they should possess good values.
“I’ve fought very much for gender equality in Albania. I don’t believe that gender determined something about a country’s president,” – said Socialist MP Klotilda Bushka for Euronews Albania.
“Values and characteristics – these go beyond gender,” – she added.
In regards to the president, she said that the opposition has unfortunately lost the chance to elect a president in a consensual manner.
Bushka is part of the Leader’s Conference for the election of the new president.
The first 3 rounds for the election of the new president have failed and the date for the 4th round will be determined by the end of this week.
