SPAK vows to consider all ‘evidence and leads’ in connection to incinerator affair

The Special Prosecution against Organized Crime and Corruption announced on Monday that SPAK chief Arben Kraja met Democrat MP Jorida Tabaku over the incinerator affair.

The Special Prosecution confirmed that the meeting had been requested by Tabaku.

In regards to the investigation, SPAK said that the institution is determined to administer all the evidence in connection to the case.

SPAK stressed that it will regard all the leads presented at the prosecution, as well as by the Inquiry Commission established by the Assembly.

“On the other hand, we would like to assure public opinion on the independent work of the prosecutors, in their decision-making, and they will objectively examine every claim, lead or evidence presented by all parties that hold information on the process”, the announcement read.
