The Special Prosecution Against Corruption and Organized Crime (SPAK) has published its main achievements for the month of December 2022, through a routine report.

In the announcement, SPAK stated that during the month of December, 8 criminal reports were submitted, of which, 5 weren’t followed up with an investigation.

Also, 7 criminal proceedings were registered, of which, 2 were regarding criminal offenses related to organized crime and 5 proceedings for criminal offenses related to corruption.

In December 2022, SPAK seized 12 immovable properties, 4 movable properties, and commercial entities.

Among other things, it was emphasized that 6 Albanian citizens were declared internationally wanted, and 4 requests for the extradition of these persons to Albania were transmitted to foreign authorities.
