Lawyer Spartak Ngjela spoke during an interview with Euronews Albania about the tampering of votes back in the 2003 elections.

According to him, he won Tirana, but Rama tampered with the votes.

Asked by moderator Sidorela Gjoni, Ngjela said that he has not confronted Rama on this issue, but Sali Berisha is absolutely aware that those elections were won by the lawyer – referring to himself.

In addition, he said that the campaign was extraordinary and lasted 18 hours per day.

“My opponent wasn’t an easy one, it wasn’t the easiest ride but go ahead and ask him. Go ask Sali Berisha, did Ngjela win or did Ngjela not win? Go ahead. They know full well that after I knocked him down, DP started to completely deviate’ – declared Ngjela.

According to the lawyer, the fight he fought in court to overturn the electoral theft was above all to return the Democratic Party to a modern space, regardless of the results.
