Special Anti-Corruption Prosecutor (SPAK) seizes 5512 m2 of land from Artan Gaçi, the husband of former minister Olta Xhaçka.
The preventive seizure has been imposed as it is being investigated for falsification of the land acquisition deed.
This area turns out to be a part of the land with which Gaçi gained the status of strategic investor a while ago.
A few days ago, Gaçi appeared at SPAK, where the former mayor of Himara, Jorgo Goro, was questioned the day before.
Sources for Euronews Albania inform that Gaçi was called by Fredi Beleri. Goro and Xhaçka themselves have been reported for the same issue.
The ex-minister’s husband is accused of “forging documents” and “cleaning the proceeds of a criminal offense” carried out in cooperation.
