During a press conference, PM Edi Rama stated that the education reform for universities, the closure of pyramidal universities and the international accreditation of universities give the chance to aspire for more.

“My aspiration for more is for us to bring foreign public universities in Albania and to unite them with our universities, not twining them in the classic method with an exchange of experiences but in terms of academic energy and the energy of our staff, so that everyone gets two chances, to stay here or to go abroad,”- said Rama.

He emphasized that all universities in Albania will have the standards of foreign universities, without the need for students to leave their families, adding that in this way the costs for parents would also decrease considerably.

Ramam said that the arrival of the Istanbul Technical University in Albania is a concrete plan that is being put into action.
