Kosovo’s PM, Albin Kurti went to Brussels today, where he is expected to meet with the Commissioner on Enlargement, Oliver Varhelyi.
The head of state will be participating at the EU-Kosovo Council of Stabilization and Association.
Attendees will be discussing the political, economic criteria, financial collaboration as well as the implementation of the Stabilization-Association Agreement.
At the end of the meeting, at around 14:00, there will be a joint press conference.
Kurti will be meeting with EU’s representative of Foreign Politics, Joseph Borell.
The Stabilization Association Agreement is the first and only agreement between Kosovo and the European Union, which came into force on April 1, 2016 and aims to support the efforts made by Kosovo to further strengthen the country’s democracy and rule law.
