The Democratic Party is holding a protest in front of the Parliament building in Tirana, while the session is being held inside.
DP supporters have thrown smoke bombs in the direction of the police forces, which in increased numbers have created a fence in front of the institution.
The protesters tried to break the siege by clashing with the police.
The protest announced by the DP in front of the Parliament building comes after the one held on February 11, called by the chief democrat Sali Berisha, where the head of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, also participated.
Berisha demands the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama after the publication of the scandal with the former FBI official, Charles McGonigal.
