A civil protest against the barricades put up in northern Kosovo has also taken place in the capital of North Macedonia.
Dozens of citizens gathered outside the Serbian embassy in Skopje in support of Kosovo.
The protest was organized by the Association of Albanian Political Prisoners and Persecuted (SHBPPSH), but was also supported by the opposition parties, the Alliance for Albanians and the Besa Movement.
This gathering comes on the 20th day of the installation of barricades in the north of Kosovo, which are still in place – blocking the Kosovo-Serbia border crossings – despite an agreement reached between Serbian president Alexandar Vucic and the international community this Thursday.
A similar protest was held today in Tirana, where citizens condemned Belgrade’s warmongering rhetoric and demanded the prompt removal of these barricades.
