The University Hospital of Trauma has reacted after the flagrant arrest of doctor Fitim Marku.

In a post on “Facebook”, the University Hospital of Trauma encourages the justice bodies to carry out the investigation and uncover the truth, to hold accountable anyone who is involved in illegal actions, against the services that should be offered to citizens.

“Such cases should not be translated into the tarnishing of all white shirts, doctors and nurses, who perform their work with dedication and correctness every day in the service of patients” – the reaction says.

After this case, the hospital said that services for citizens will not be interrupted at any time.

At noon today, a doctor at the Trauma hospital, Fitim Marku, was arrested by the police.

Marku is suspected to have been caught red-handed inside the hospital taking bribes from patients. The amount has not been confirmed as the investigation continues.
