The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) has opened up another call for 32 vacancies for investigator positions.
Through a post on their official web-page, NBI announced that regarding these vacancies, they will be holding another competition phase, similar with the one conducted recently for the selection of the first 28 investigators.
NBI is scheduled to have at least 60 investigators, 28 of whom were selected during the first phase.
NBI’s investigators will have the status of Judicial Police Officer and will be able to investigate criminal cases under the direction of special prosecutors. Apart from the general criteria like nationality or a lack of conflict of interest, they must:
- be graduates of bachelors in police, justice, accounting or other fields related to NBI;
- have more than 1 year experience working for law enforcement agencies;
- not have had any relations with State Security (State Intelligence Services), the political system as well as the justice system during the communist regime;
In addition, the candidates will be subject to written exams as well as oral assessments regarding their behavior and logical reasoning, written tests regarding their analytic abilities, an interview regarding their communicative abilities as well as a physical test. After all these tests, they will also be subject to the polygraph test regarding their ‘integrity.
Ultimately, those that will be certified from this race, will have the opportunity to train and earn a specialized education in the United States of America.
