During his visit in Belgrade, the German minister of Foreign Affairs, Heiko Maas called for a reopening of negotiations between Serbia and Kosovo. Maas stressed out that this is “the right moment” to reinitiate discussions mediated by the European Union.

During the joint conference for the media, President Vucic said that Belgrade is willing to “work” towards finding what he described as a “solution through compromise”.

“We don’t recognize Kosovo, but we are willing to discuss the future of the entire region in a serious and responsible manner,” emphasized Vucic.

One day ago, the German diplomat was in Prishtina, where he met with PM Albin Kurti and President Vjosa Osmani.
