A majority of Albanian citizens (58%) have never heard their parliamentary representative take the podium during a plenary session, against one-fourth (28.4%) who actually have.

Drawing a comparison between Socialist and Democrat voters, the number of the former who had heard their MP speak up in parliament was higher (37.6%), compared to the latter (31.7%).

But among the general population, some 65.5% had never heard their parliamentary representative talk in the legislative chamber. Only 16.6% of Albanians have heard about their region being discussed as a topic in parliament by their MP.

Categorizing voters based on the banner they cast their ballot for, the number of Socialist voters who had heard their MP talk about their region was higher (23.7%) compared to Democrat voters (23.7%).

The findings of Barometer on Euronews Albania were presented following a nationwide survey carried out by MRB and Data Centrum, based on 1,000 face-to-face interviews conducted from April 25 to May 7.
