Floor leader for the Socialist Party’s caucus group, Taulant Balla, acknowledged the fact that there is currently a lot of money in the country that hasn’t been declared.
During his speech opening the new parliamentary season, Balla invited the opposition to participate in discussions on this important issue.
According to Balla, the law on fiscal amnesty is a necessity for the Albanian economy.
“We will introduce the law on fiscal amnesty, we are convinced that it is a necessity in the new economic context for the country. We believe that the law we are proposing is the guarantee for the legalization of undeclared and unregistered money. We all know that there is a lot of undeclared money in Albania.
The law clearly separates which entities will be beneficiaries and which entities are excluded from the amnesty scheme. There is no full amnesty, but only a partial one. I invite the opposition to be a part of the discussion when the government brings it up for debate”, stressed Balla.
