Ivi Kaso, a member of the Democratic Party Re-establishment Commission, stated that the salaries database is part of the personal data that was leaked before the elections.
According to him, there is also another database that has even more sensitive data, containing the credit record of all citizens.
“There is a suspicion that the database has several levels which have even more sensitive data, such as bank records, the credit register which would expose not only state institutions but also criminal groups”, said Kaso.
According to him, the justice system has not done its job in investigating the scandal, adding that an investigation team should have already been in action to put those responsible in front of justice.
Ivi Kaso noted that the High Court rested the “Patronage system case” just on Tuesday, shelving it as an “ordinary issue”.
