The Special Prosecutor’s Office has confirmed that the acting chairman of the OVL-UÇK, Faton Klinaku, was interviewed today regarding last night’s post on Facebook, where he wrote that “I would rather kill Albin Kurti than let him go and run away from Kosovo”.
The spokesman of the Special Prosecution, Ekrem Lutfiu, said that Klinaku is suspected of the criminal offense of “Violence against high representatives of the Republic of Kosovo”.
After the interview, Lutfiu says that Klinaku was released in a regular procedure. According to the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo, precisely Article 128, the commission of this offense is punishable by imprisonment from three to ten years.
