Who is today’s man?! Do we know ourselves better today? Why do we seek at all costs to be the first? How much do we need the other? What is the love we think we feel for him?
These and many other questions that career writers and young writers raise in their literary works and make us think and reflect every day, will be part of the activities of the 4th International Youth Literary Festival “Tirana Gate” 2024, for three consecutive days on October 9, 10 and 11 at the Artistic High School “Jordan Misja” in Tirana.
Albanian and foreign authors, translators and personalities of art and culture were present at the opening ceremony.
The past as an alibi and the past as a source were discussed on Monday by the well-known Austrian author.
While Blerin Rugova Gaxha was also present, she writes that “War has no memory, but the poetic brain remembers.
“Regarding the time we live in, we are witnessing a constantly changing time where each one of us seeks to adapt, to find himself. In our societies it is difficult to survive, it is difficult due to the fact that the presence of art is being consumed”, said the writer.
Thus, the author Stefan Çapaliku spoke about the position of the Albanian writer in Albania.
“The topic with which this festival starts is the main topic of discussion of a position not only of the writer in society but also of the artist. It is interesting that in Albania the writer has optimal conditions”, said Çepaliku.
The festival that will last for three days will welcome pen artists from different countries of the world.
