Arrests continue in connection with the devastating fire at the “Pulse” nightclub in Kočani, which claimed the lives of 59 people.

This afternoon, police detained the three most recent mayors of Kočani:

• Ratko Dimitrovski (VMRO-DPMNE)
• Nikollče Iliev (SDSM)
• Lupčo Papazov (VMRO-DPMNE), who resigned two days ago

The Public Prosecutor’s Office confirmed that, in coordination with the police, suspects linked to the fire are being arrested. The operation will continue overnight, with further details expected once investigations conclude.
