Oil is being sold at 245 Albanian Lek per liter this Saturday, a price set by Albania’s fuel price regulating executive board.
The price of gasoline rose by 12 Lek and is now being sold on the market at 218 Lek per liter.
Gas prices had remained unchanged, with a fixed price at 93 Lek.
But this Saturday, its price went up by 17 Lek so the owners of vehicles that work on gas have to buy it at 110 Lek.
The prices will be valid for the upcoming 5 days, until April 1, confirmed the Board of Transparency.
The government set up the board in early March after fuel prices reached a record-high price of 260 Lek per liter.
The goal was to temporarily limit wholesale and retail trade prices. The result was immediate, as it dropped the price of oil to 203 Lek.
